Marriage in Islam is a beautiful union that completes one’s faith and we pray we can make this union a memorable and spiritual one. Islam teaches us that marriage is an important part of our life and that a healthy marriage leads to a healthy community.
In the State of California the couple must get a marriage license from any California County Clerk's office. A public license is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. If the ceremony does not take place within those 90 days, the license expires and a new license is required.
